The telescopic air-termination rods from DEHN are practical to use and can be set up easily by just one person.
The manageable packaging size makes transporting it to the installation site easier – whether that be in a vehicle, on a staircase or in a lift. This air-termination rod can be installed on a stand or a wall.
Short segment lengths and the integrated latching mechanism, which prevents the mast segments from sliding back after extension, make working even safer. Shorter air-termination rods are also less prone to tipping over during insertion.
When planning and installing air-termination systems as part of a lightning protection system, the wind load plays an important role. Buildings, especially complex structures, require appropriately adapted air-termination systems. Since the introduction of the Eurocodes, we have standardised rules for rating wind loads across Europe. The new telescopic air-termination rods are dimensioned to Eurocode 1 (DIN EN 1991-1-4 + DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA).
Thanks to the short installation dimensions and being combined with an n-legged stand, they can be installed quickly. Just one tool (13 AF) is required for set-up.
The air-termination rods are also available as a set – stainless steel n-legged or HDG steel stands. The telescopic air-termination rods are available up to a height of 8 m. The package dimensions are only 1.65 m to 1.85 m at 3.7 kg to max. 8.9 kg.
The self-supporting air-termination rod with tripod for protecting roof-mounted structures is available with adjustment up to a roof slope of max. 10°.
